The Southampton University Japanese Society presents a mix of modern
Japanese vocals with the sounds of the traditional Japanese bamboo flute.

Yukako Tatsumi-Margaritoff
Mezzo-soprano singer
An internationally-known opera singer who has studied and performed in Europe and Asia.
Harrie Starreveld
Flutist, shakuhachi artist
One of a select few non-Japanese to master the Shakuhachi, a traditional Japanese bamboo flute.
Kanae Furomoto
Piano accompanist
Pianist bred in Britain with repertoires stretching from the past to contemporary.

17:30 Concert begins. There will be a short intermission during the concert.
